Fact & Form is a design and branding studio based at Mindspace Business District in Bucharest, Romania. We work with clients across industrial design, brand identity, and digital marketing – from multinational corporations like Vodafone, Zabka, and BCR to fast-growing regional companies building their market position in competitive categories.
We operate across the full design spectrum: physical products, brand systems, digital experiences, and performance marketing. Our team is intentionally small. We move quickly, maintain direct client relationships, and hold ourselves to a high standard on every deliverable – whether it is a full brand identity system or a single-page sales sheet.
We are growing carefully. Every hire we make changes what we can take on, how we work, and what the studio stands for. We are not looking for someone to fill a seat. We are looking for someone who raises the bar — someone whose standards are at least as high as ours, and who will push the work further for it.
We Want
We are looking for a Senior Designer who brings both craft and commercial thinking to the table. You should be able to look at a brief, identify what the real problem is, and propose a direction – not just execute what has been handed to you. You communicate clearly, work independently, and take ownership of a project from first concept through final delivery without needing to be chased.
This is a full-time, hybrid role. You will work across branding, product, and digital projects, often with direct client contact. You will need to be comfortable with ambiguity, fast feedback cycles, and the occasional late push to get something exactly right. Here is what we are looking for:
- 4+ years in branding, visual identity, or product design – with a portfolio that demonstrates it.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); Figma proficiency required.
- Proven ability to lead a project from brief to final delivery, not just execute tasks assigned by others.
- Sharp typographic instincts and a precise eye for layout, hierarchy, and color.
- Experience presenting and defending creative work directly to clients, including handling critical feedback.
- Comfortable working across both print and digital without quality trade-offs.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English; Romanian is a bonus.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines with full attention to detail.
The following are not requirements but will make you stand out: experience in industrial or product design, motion graphics or 3D visualization skills, package design background, familiarity with project management tools like Notion or Asana, and strong opinions about typography you can articulate and defend. We also appreciate designers who have worked in a client-services or agency environment and understand how to manage client expectations alongside creative quality.
Compensation
This is a full-time position with a hybrid working model. Your primary base will be Mindspace Business District in Bucharest, with flexibility to work remotely for a portion of the week. We are open to discussing the specific arrangement based on your situation and the nature of ongoing projects – some projects require more in-studio time than others.
The package includes: a competitive salary benchmarked against Romanian and EU market rates for senior creative roles; 21 days of paid annual leave plus all national holidays; an annual professional development budget for conferences, courses, books, and tools; full access to our software stack including Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and any other tools you need to do great work; and a health insurance contribution.
There is real growth potential in this role. Senior designers at Fact & Form have the opportunity to take on creative direction responsibilities, own client-facing projects from start to finish, and mentor junior team members as the studio scales. We review compensation annually and take career development seriously.
