Hellenic-Romanian Chamber of Commerce

Two Business Cultures, One Institutional Brand

The Hellenic-Romanian Chamber of Commerce (HRCC) is the bilateral institution connecting Greek and Romanian business communities through trade, investment, and member representation. The project covered a complete brand and digital ecosystem: identity, brand guide, web design and development, print collateral, and ongoing creative support for events and member communications. As an official HRCC member ourselves, the relationship is both a client engagement and a long-term partnership.

Challenge

An institutional brand for a bilateral chamber — credible to two cultures, two languages, and a diverse membership.

HRCC operates at the intersection of two business cultures, representing Greek and Romanian companies across finance, energy, logistics, and technology. The brand needed to feel institutionally credible to high-level members while remaining warm enough to drive participation and visibility for both sides. The project began with a complete identity system — logo, guidelines, and a visual language designed to operate across formal and informal contexts.

Print and digital, calibrated to behave the same way.

An early issue surfaced after the first print run: the brand colour printed noticeably darker than its digital counterpart, almost reading as black on physical materials. The fix wasn’t switching to a brighter blue — it was calibrating the exact difference between digital and CMYK rendering. We adjusted the colour three tones brighter to restore visual parity, then re-exported the entire identity system.

Challenge

A website built like a chamber operates — by section, by audience, by function.

HRCC.ro was structured around how the chamber actually works: governance (Management, Vision, Role), resources (Partner News and Member News for company profiles), and Events (modelled on the AmCham reference the client admired). The homepage uses a post carousel with a “looking for” filtering system that helps visitors find members, news, and events without forcing them into a single content stream.

Content shaped together, not delivered to be rewritten.

The Vision and Role pages depended on input only the chamber could authentically write. Rather than pushing generic placeholder copy, we drafted scaffolding, opened the door for HRCC’s own voice, and waited for the client’s input before finalising those sections. The result reads like the institution — not like the designers behind it.

Brought in for the brand. Stayed for everything else.

The initial brief covered identity and website. The relationship extended naturally into business cards, an event backdrop, rollup iterations, blog post templates, member profile layouts, and seasonal communications. Each piece was treated as part of one ongoing system rather than a new project — so the chamber can request anything from a Christmas card to an event rollup and get something that already speaks the same language.

Goal

Build an institutional brand and digital platform capable of representing two business communities with credibility and clarity.

The objective wasn’t a single deliverable. It was a complete creative ecosystem supporting the chamber across branding, governance pages, member profiles, event communications, and print materials — built to scale with the institution’s activity and membership over time.

Result

A complete brand and digital ecosystem, supported as a partnership.

HRCC launched with a refined identity, a fully operational website, a brand guide, business cards, an event backdrop, two rollup iterations, blog post templates, and a Christmas card — delivered across late 2024 and 2025. We continue to support the chamber post-launch with member news, logo iterations, and event collateral. What started as an identity project has become an ongoing creative partnership — one where the chamber asks, and we go further than expected.
